A new group, Friends of Brown's Mill Battlefield, is forming in Coweta County, GA. The group would support the park being developed at the site of the Civil War battle just south of Newnan.
The first meeting of this new group will be help on Sunday, February 20th, at 2pm in the cafeteria at Central Education Center (CEC) on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive in Newnan.
All potential Friends of the Battlefield are invited to attend the meeting where a new board will be elected and everyone will be brought up to date on progress of the park project.
